Let us introduce ourselves. We are a married couple living in the San Francisco Bay Area with our two young sons. We met in journalism graduate school and have moved 10 times in our 12 years of marriage as we have pursued various journalism jobs in New York, France, Boston and San Francisco. Now that we are settled in the Bay Area, we find ourselves trying to balance two full-time jobs with the hundreds of tasks and preoccupations involved in raising two adorable, infuriating and very active boys.

For the past several months, we have come to realize that our schedules are completely out of control. We often find out interesting and important facts about each other from other people. We are somehow managing, with help from family, friends and complete strangers, to keep things together. We started this blog in an attempt to communicate with each other and ponder the difficulties and absurdities of our over-programmed lifestyle. We welcome commentary and advice.
